Just 2 minutes walk from the world famous Ashness Bridge. The cottage stands in three acres of land, two of these being native Atlantic Oak Woodland, part of a
Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) which preserves the unique Flora and fauna found here. Red Squirrels, Badgers, Foxes, Deer and Woodpeckers are all regularly spotted here along with several Birds of Prey. The local
Osprey can also be seen within a few miles of the cottage.
Situated on a quiet road off the main B5289 Borrowdale Road, just 2.5 miles from Keswick. The cottage has stunning views overlooking Derwentwater and is surrounded by majestic fells. National rail services stop at Penrith with the regular bus service connecting Penrith to Keswick. National Express coach services stop in Keswick. The local bus service and boat service from Keswick stop at the bottom of the road.
